Gold Property’s Project Manager, Lee Braithwaite, is taking part in a ‘10k a day Challenge’ to raise money for mental health charity Mind. Lee is running 10k a day throughout April with the aim of raising £2000. He has already completed 150km of his 300km target and has raised £1650 so far.
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year in England and 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (like anxiety and depression) in any given week. Throw on top the coronavirus pandemic and national lockdown’s; Lee’s fundraising campaign is even more appreciated at this crucial time.
Lee’s chosen charity, Mind, provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Over more than 60 years Mind has worked to improve the lives of all people with experience of mental health problems. Through public campaigns, government lobbying and more than 1,000 services they have delivered in communities across England and Wales.
Everyone at Gold would like to thank Lee and we wish him the best for the remainder of his fundraise. We are with you every step of the way!
